Dan P.I collected cards as a kid from 1960-64. When the 65's came out I said "baseball cards are for kids" and stopped collecting. I decided to buy just 1 pack a year just to see what that year's design looked like. In 1973 (by this time I was already working and my childhood collection was lost in a family move) I bought my annual pack at a pharmacy next door to the bank I did business at with my weekly pay check. I randomly picked one wax pack and found a Clemente card in it. Clemente had been killed the previous winter in the plane crash. At the time I didn't know how the cards were produced so I thought it odd that they had a card of a "dead guy". This is what got me back into collecting as an adult.
