Paul SLeon, nice to see these in strip form, and to know that there are others out there who find these oddly appealing. I started a thread on them last year -- almost tongue-in-cheek, because many people "poo-poo" them -- however, it was good to see that there were others who really saw their merit...sort of like how your Big Head Unc thread awhile ago found some admirers. If you're collecting for type, then I guess you already know that there's a 1943 series of these too, with the back slightly different, no card#, like this Ott, for instance:
