I have his autograph on an Old-Timers Day program from the 1930s but not on any cards. I've never been an autograph guy but probably will pick up a signed HOF plaque one of these days. It's just never been a priority for me.

Thanks for the scan of the 1906 spring-training photo. I had not seen it.

Hands down, my favorite photo of Lajoie is one that pictures him in street clothes with his long-haired dachshund. One of my favorite players with my absolute favorite breed of dog. Tough to beat that.

I do not know who will come after you first: me or Lichtman.

As for the pronounciation, I've always gone with La-zhu-way, and when I hear most media types (I know, not the best litmus test, not by a long shot) and folks in Cleveland pronounce it, that's the way they say it.
