Set up at my first hobby show in Troy, MI in 1972 at age 17. Wrote a monthly column for Baseball Hobby News for years. Hosted a seminar called The Good Olds Days Of Collecting at the first Chicago National.
Was a daily newspaper sports editor for 24 years and was elected to the Michigan Basketball Hall of Fame as a writer in 2004. Produced a book of my favorite 50 columns called Beyond The Games a couple years ago.
Started collecing at age 6 in 1959 and my folks kept all my cards went I went off to college. Later sold all my Bowman sets to Charlie Conlon to help finance a new house. I've completed my Glendale set and now I'm working on a raw Diamond Stars set.
