I've been having issues with Fed Ex. also. Both my wife and I work, so we are never home when they show up. They will leave their door tag and state that they will be back the next day. Of course, there is no mention of any time. Twice I have found the door tag in other places besides the door. One time I found it in my driveway and the other time I found it stuck to the bottom of my tire. I believe it was also laying in the driveway and I drove over it.
I usually end up driving around 15 miles to the Fed Ex office to pick it up. Atleast they are open till 8 PM in my area.
I have told some of the people who send me Fed Ex packages to please use USPS instead.
