Still cool, but:

I think, based on the graphics, this is probably not 19th Century. I'm not even sure "shoe polish" was sold as such that early. Probably teens or 20s, I'd guess.

Also, King Kelly as part of pop culture had a pretty long shelf life. The "Slide, Kelly" baseball board game, for instance, was manufactured in the 30s.
