I was reading the latest issue of Memories and Dreams the other night when I immediately thought of you. On P.22 there is a picture of Roger Maris sitting atop the dugout steps that instantly struck me as an incredible image for a painting.

Arghhh! If only I wasn't in the middle of $15K in unexpected expenses over the last few weeks I'd be very seriously considering commisioning it. Houses and kids! Why do they have to be so full of surprises and so dang expensive?
