www.mearsonlineauctions.com

Continuing the tradition of offering lots that cater to all collecting budgets, the MEARS June 25th, 2011 Auction contains its greatest selection to date. With over 3,000+ lots, our diverse selection features pre-war vintage cards, game worn jerseys of the Chicago Bears, and our staple offerings of vintage photographs from TSN archives. For this auction we debuted the category of “Exquisite Choice” photos”, the best of the best from the John Rogers Photo archives. Each image was hand selected for clarity, contrast, and special subject matter.

The majority of lots start at $9.99, and our selections are easily organized in easy to search categories. Although the sheer numbers of lots may sound too overwhelming to find what you are looking for, our search function allows collectors to scour the auction by title or description.

Pre War Highlights include:

90 lots Charles Conlon original photographs. Always a popular grouping, this selection includes images of Walter Johnson, Jimmie Foxx, Mel Ott, and many obscure players from the deadfall era. Minimum bids range from $25.00 to $100.00.

The final offering is “The Ultimate Chicago White Sox card collection”. Assembled by a lifelong Chicago resident, this collector attempted to obtain a card of every White Sox player from 1894 to 2010. Early examples of cards in this lot include 1887 Allen & Ginter Charles Comiskey, 1916 F2 Joe Jackson, Diamond Stars, Goudeys, Delong, and much, much more.
