While we had been active on common threads over the past year or so, Adam and I hadn't communicated directly. Some time ago he posted a photo of a piece I've been after. We corresponded the past two weeks regarding it's availability, potential trades, and common interests, then established a time to meet at my place and make the exchange.
Adam arrived with the piece we had agreed upon but also brought two amazing Tigers pennants, a portion of his impressive collection of Tigers pinbacks, and four hours of stories, insights, and expertise to share. The latter proved to be as valuable as the former. You know you enjoyed yourself when four hours seemed like 30 minutes.
Eventually, we completed our transaction and discussed ideas for future trades. While I am excited about future dealings with Adam (he has a great eye), I’m equally eager to simply sit down and talk about the hobby we all love. Thanks again Adam.

Here is the exceptional example of the 1934 Tigers Championship tray Adam made available to me.

Here it is mounted. I love the way it looks under my oversized Tigers pennant.

While I’m posting, I figured I would share some updated pics of my shelves (holy crap are they dusty!!!) and a current image of my pinback collection.

Mike- Thank you so much for your kind words. Sorry I am just now able to post but this weekend has been very hectic to say the least. I think you picked the perfect spot for the tray, it looks wonderful below that incredible Tigers pennant. It was so nice to have met you and be able to see up close your phenomenal baseball collection. Look forward to hooking up real soon and hopefully we can do some more trades in the near future. It is so rewarding to help a fellow collector out, who shares the same appreciation for the history of baseball as I do and especially with someone with such an eye for quality. Adam
