OK, not a big dollar item or anything, but I thought it might be neat to have my ticket from the 100th anniversary signed by the oldest player in attendance.
So I took my ticket and mailed it last Friday from Boston to Bobby Doerr's residence in Oregon. Eight days (and two cross-country trips later), the ticket arrived back to me today, with a gorgeous signature from the 94 year old.
Most impressive, Mr. Doerr....
