john/z28jd Peter,although i agree about them being 2 of the best hitting shortstops ever,and im a huge Pirates fan so im big on both these guys, they were hardly back-to-back. Wagners last year as a SS was 1916 and Vaughan first as a was regular in 1932. In between they had Glenn Wright who had 3 great seasons and another HOF'er Rabbit Maranville among others
