By consistent, you obviously mean consistently wrong....calling Game 5 of the 1919 WS, Game 3, thus getting it wrong for your 12 year old son who only goes by the flip.
For those who don't know pretty much prior to 1920 (I could be off by a couple years) some home teams in the WS would just label their ticket 1,2,3,4 for
home games, not the game number of the Series. So the 3 on the Sox Ticket was for
home game # 3 of the Series for them, not the 3rd overall game. Thus 1st 2 being played in Cincy, made Game 3, White Sox home game # 1. So home game # 3 was actually Game 5 of the Series.
