I'd post a card of Willie, but every one I own is already posted ... so I'll offer a recollection: When I was nine, I discovered baseball. One of the first games I watched was on TV and one of the first memorable defensive plays I ever saw involved Willie. He was 39 at the time. The Reds' Bobby Tolan hit a ball deep right-center.
