Chuck RossI think sniping services did a lot to kill off "steals". Back in the Wild West days of eBay (1990s) I got a lot of nice stuff cheap because the auctions ended at strange or inconvenient times and I could manually snipe a win. I remember winning some great items at 2 or 3 in the morning. Now, when people see something of interest they set a snipe for the highest amount they are comfortable with and forget about it.
