Default Heritage Weekly Auctions

Hopefully this isn't a surprise to everyone but Heritage Auctions has auctions running on a weekly basis. Every Sunday night a new auction opens and one closes. Bidding ends at 10pm central with a 30-minute clock on each lot. These are not your typical auction house catalog offerings. These are more ebay-style. Think single cards and smaller lots. You never know what you’ll find from week to week but you will always find some great cards both raw and graded by SGC and PSA. The auctions are taking on a theme in 2010. I know, not everything is vinateg baseball but I’d like to present some highlights for the auctions in January:

Auction #410012Ends January 10, 2010. THIS SUNDAY!
It’s 1933 Goudey Week! This week we are offering a 238-card near set with only #’s 144 and 106 being unavailable. Are you thinking it is one huge 238-card lot. No. Try almost 110 lots and they are all SGC Graded! The largest lots have only nine cards. You’ll also find a neat 1928 Ruth ticket and a 1949 Roy Campanella signature!

Auction #410013Ends January 17, 2010.
This week we have a nice selection of vintage cards including multiple Babe Ruth cards! You’ll also find a VERY RARE 1967 Topps Test Stand Up and a pair of Wayne Gretzky rookies.

Auction #410014Ends January 24, 2010.
It’s Boxing Week! 65 lots of boxing, boxing and more boxing! Plenty of rare cards like T223s, T229s, an E77 Jack Johnson, E78s plus T218s, T219s, T220s, T225s, N162s, N174s, a W529 uncut strip, W580 plus a very cool 19th century tintype and a whole lot more. And don’t miss the groups of T206 cards!

Auction #410015Ends January 31, 2010.
Two special things to look for: 1951 Bowman Baseball – An original near set stashed away since the 1950’s and consigned by the original owner is being offered as SGC-Graded singles and smaller lots-both graded and raw. Vintage Non-Sport Cards – Almost 40 lots of vintage offerings. These will certainly please the Native American/Cowboy/Western collector. You’ll find N2s, N36s, E49 and E50 complete sets plus some really obscure Pre-1950 material.

Thank you and happy collecting!
