I just sent out a set of cards for consignment and I found registered mail to be much cheaper than USPS overnight (insured for 5K). Of course I sent it on Tuesday morning and based on the USPS tracking system, the package is still at my neighborhood post office.

I swear by USPS Registered/Insured Mail. However, their tracking system for Registered Mail sucks. Your package will be delivered long before they ever update it being past logged in where you sent it from.
