Damn, that is absolutely
gorgeous. I like how you can see the texture of the "cardboard" on that scan. That's one thing I like about CJs -- they have very unique stock for cards, especially the 1914 examples.
Is that the card that was recently given away in the Set Registry promotion? Either way, great card, Dan!
Here's a couple 1914's... the Tinker was the first CJ I ever picked up -- just a small dab of caramel on the front of his jersey. The Crawford is more recent, and more stained, and sits in and SGC 60 holder. I might have only 5 or 6 cards from this issue, but they are among my faves. Much of their charm lies in their simplicity. I have to pick up that recent book on the set, too.
