last summer I helped two of my friends (twins) clean out their late father's house. He was a spirited collector who seemed to have an interest in virtually everything... It was quite the journey... And I got to take part in the unearthing of the coolest collection I have ever seen.



I've never been good at accepting gifts, and I always felt as though accepting something for doing a good deed cancels out the good deed.



Yesterday we were invited to a picnic at one of the Twins house... while I apparently wasn't looking they gave these cards to my wife and suggested that she give them to me tommorrow... came home to find a 40&41 play ball on my countertop... Both cards were part of their dads collection and among a grouping that were freshly graded... They will keep my 39 play ball company for years to come...



Thoughtful, unnecessary, and appreciated...

Oh my. They wouldn't have given them to you if they didn't want you to have them! Congrats...and enjoy!
