I think those look very similar and to your point, signed quite a few years apart from each other. Even though the sharpie example is thicker, it does appear the first name breaks at the same points "W"-"ins"-"ton" and the second "r" in Brown also appears to be represented as a capital letter. If it were me, and the rest of the lot looked good and there was convincing provenance to the lot, I'd feel good about it.
