This is a nice 1953 Major League Baseball Guide by Dell featuring pitcher of the year Robin Roberts on the cover.
But the most interesting thing is the back cover, which features a beautiful color portrait of Mickey Mantle with the phrase, "baseball's future great."
It's in excellent condition with some foxing, but no writing, rips or missing pages. It shows very light wear for a 57 year old publication. Inside are photos of many stars, including Musial, Snider, Wilhelm, Mize, Stengel and others.
