Peter Miavia (Rock's Grandad) didn't start wrestling until 1960, a few years after the Parkhurst Set was released. If you want to get a good look at Peter, check out his fight scene with Sean Connery in 'You Only Live Twice'.
Neff was very popular in Hawaii and Peter took his last name from Neff when he debuted. The two were tag team partners at one time as well.

Did you watch Neff Maiava live? I know he also worked the Capitol Wrestling territory (now known as WWE) tagging regularly with Johnny Walker who later became Mr. Wrestling II.
