As a buyer I would have no problem at all making an offer for a card I am looking for but I would not want it to be an open end offer to purchase --I usually offer the highest price I am willing to pay --but I don't want it to become the starting point in a bidding war --so yes it is fine if there is a quick accept or reject and we are done. I have been very pleased with the B/S/T feature and have made a number of purchases using that service and I see this as one more option for securing the cards I am seeking.
