jay behrensI set with the intent of trying to get one card of every major leaguer that appeared on a card from 1908-45. This seemed like a still feasible task 4 years. Now that t209 and t210s have skyrocketed in popularity, this has pretty much become an impossible task now. I need 48 cards just from the t210 series 8. When cards were selling for around $100 each, it seemed doable, but given current prices and my limited budget there is no way I have any hope of acquiring these cards.
I will keep plugging away at this since I've already completed many of the vintage sets back in the 80s. This is the only real challenge for me. Who know, I might win the lottery some day. Which reminds, I need to start buying tickets, lol. I will most likely be focusing my buying on Batter Ups for players from the 30s and Colgans for the Deadball Era since I never did those sets.
