My collection is not world class, it's '50s to '70s, and mostly midgrade (by which I mean Ex or EXMt overall) although I do have some cards that are really sharp. Complete baseball sets from 1957 and 1968-84, hockey sets from the 70s and 80s, football sets from the 70s. I assume that that stuff should probably go to an auction house - is there one right now that you all would recommend? Thanks.
Just FYI our auction company is actually in the will of two collectors, and a number of other kids and spouses have been introduced to us. So it's not unusual, especially if you have a relationship with the company, to make plans with an auction house.
