Jim TI am sort of new to T206 as well. I was given a few as a gift about 8 years ago and recently have begun purchasing a few from board members and ebay.
I know I will never complete a set, even minus the big 4, so I would like to focus my collecting is some form. I initially thought about portraits but would then miss on some great action poses. Lately I have been think about some team sets. Of my first 30 cards, 4 are Cincinatti players, so that would seem like a good start.
What I really need is a checklist of players that shows teams and variations. Positition might be nice too, if I decide to collect catchers or some other position.
I have not been able to find such a checklist. The closest I have come is the list on MLBVintage.com but it cannot be copied. Any help would be appreciated.
