My Uncle John (Rochester, NY) did. He was born in
the old country (Greece) in the 1880's and lived
till the late 1960's. And, he smoked tobacco.

My wife's Father lived into his 80's and smoked
tobacco all his life. It's in your genetic makeup.
Everyone is different.
