In college I had the good fortune to meet a Sherpa who had ascended Everest several times. My buddy and I hung out with him for a couple of days in Ann Arbor, he had come to promote a trekking venture. Nicest guy you could hope to meet, very slight build, you never would have known he was capable of what surely is a staggering athletic feat.
