My kid was accepted to NYU and just took an apartment in Bklyn at a rehab'd factory near Flushing Ave and Wyckoff. The area is across from the 'L' station. The wife is a wreck.(Growing up on Cape Cod, her baby is a bit of a rube.) Michael on the other hand, loves the culture and diversity of the Hood.
Is the area a safe one? Would you try to convince your kid to move over to the lower east side/Village? tia, Steve F
