When I first started using my current scanner (epson V600), I had used a “dust removal” image correction setting that filled in some of the “a” letters in the image. I see your point but this card was sold by a big seller with over 500,000 deals. His scans are big and clear..if that was the case then he would have lots of others with the same issue.
