Rob D.Whenever our newspaper does a redesign or makes significant cosmetic or functional changes to our Web site, the reader feedback is almost always negative by a ratio of about 8-1. Yet traffic and the number of unique users stays constant (and continually grows).
Then, down the road, when more changes are implemented, people clamor for the most recent way "it used to be."
Simply put, the majority of people don't like change. (Unless, of course, it's paired with "hope.")
