Default Fascinating T206s

...but as far as mystique goes, the angelic look of the Walter Johnson portrait has always amazed me. The Al Burch Batting with the sun setting behind the church (?) also carries a certain mystique. And for me, why this card was one of the select few that was only issued in the 150 Series further adds to the mystique.

Maybe not mysterious or fascinating, but these two cards certainly make me wonder:
1) Is that a sunset or an out-of-control wildfire behind George Davis? Or is he playing ball in Hell perhaps?
2) What are those two vertical lines below Ed Willetts' elbow supposed to be?
