Hindsight is 20/20 vision, but it would have been best to not mention the JSA LOA up front.
It may color perceptions one way or another. Certainly there are some individuals who will relish the opportunity to dump on something
only because it has a JSA cert.
I do not know Ruth enough to offer an opinion. But in my view, the JSA LOA should be weighed with a high degree of credibility. Then gather the opinions of other collectors/dealers you trust to "put it to bed" in your mind.
In other words, don't let the contrary voice of one person ruin it for you. There will always be "that one person" with just about any autograph.
