It couldn't have been any later, Barry. I believe the Boston Tea Party gave up the ghost in 71. Johnny helped resurrect Muddy Waters career, too. "I'm Ready" and "Hard Again" are two of Muddy's best. Johnny also had a great album on Alligator called Nothin' But the Blues" that contains some of his finest slide work.


Another great album from the Boston area from the Tea Party era is "Blow Your Face Out...Live (recorded loud to be played loud) from J Geils......Woober Goober with the Green Teeth..........
