OK, thanks everyone with answers to the initial post.

If I understand correctly:

1. If someone is going to scam you, no method is safe.

2. The safest way is registered since the parcel probably will not be opened.

3. FedEx and UPS probably are safe except the insurance rates are relatively high compared to registered suggesting that the parcel will be stolen if the rotten employee knows it's valuable baseball cards & given a chance.
