Joe D.I personally think it is the seller's responsibility to get the product to the buyer.
I don't know the legality of a situation... but if I never receive a product - how should I be expected to pay?
So, I basically think eBay has it backwards (or the eBay sellers do).
"Insurance Optional" --- to me that is at the seller's risk.
For the record - I request insurance on every purchase I make (no matter how small). And, I ship with insurance every time I ship something.
