Pride of the Yankees
Picked up a 1942 copy of Lou Gehrig Pride of the Yankees with nice dust cover. The cover also has Gary Cooper on it so I'm wondering if the movie had already been made (1943) or they put this cover on to help promote the upcoming movie. Also picked up the 1943 ad from Life magazine for Pride of the Yankees. I thought it might make a nice display with the book on a book holder sitting on my bookcase next to the framed movie ad.
