I'm sooo bad.
It never occurred to me there was an ice age in the southern hemisphere. I suppose South Africa would have been pretty deep in ice at the time. I now wonder why there aren't any finds of mammoth fossils etc in the southern hemisphere. Less land near the poles, but there should be something there.
