My Kellogg's 3D-s (not test issues, and not in holders) tend to warp. Maybe those that are restrained from this tendancy, such as those in a holder, cause the card to instead crack -- sort of like the weakest link in a chain...the card is "looking" to give at some part. (Anyway that's my theory...conversely, I could be full it it.)
