EVERY owner knows that the $$$ are achieved with JSA or PSA so their is NO reason why a good autograph wouldn't be sent to either of these companies."
The key words mentioned by Vintage Clout are "out on the market". I have individual pieces worth thousands with signatures obtained in-person over a period of decades and I have never sent even one autograph to be authenticated. None of them have been offered for sale, but if they were to be sold, then I would likely send them in to a third party.
