One of each topps year is a great idea. Have you thought about graded cards. I have found that if you stick fast to one grade 3 or 4 or 5 or whatever if the eye appeal is good. It makes for a beautiful evenly matched graded collection. (see my small football collection in "albums") I understand if you prefer "raw"" many do. I used to be just raw cards myself but now I am down sizing and sticking with PSA.
