Very hard to tell if this is a "pinzplus" repro do you remember if you bought it from that seller? that would explain alot but for the record My 29 cubs pin measures also 1 3/4 by 2 3/4 in size and I know is vintage. (real deal) Pinzplus tends to change the sizes to either larger or smaller than the original. But in this case I dont know what he was going by as like I said I have never come across this style pin. Without another example I.E. another player from this Louisville slugger set and I use set loosely will be hard to determine vintage or repro. It would be my educated guess its a repro based on never ever seeing this style but hay you never know about pins.... new ones come up all the time I can tell you that from experience......
