What an interesting thread!
I always thought Rusty Staub and Ken "hawk" Harrelson wwere two of the earlier glove-wearers. Don't know why I remember this,I just do. I remember Staub wearing his white single-glove playing for mets in early 70s,but I'm sure there must have been many others seeings as Romano was wearing this one way back in '61...
