Default c.1908-1910 Candy Shop Interior Shot (w/ Products) **FUN SHARE**

One of my favorite parts of the hobby is finding out about how the cards we love so much were produced, marketed and taking that even further original displays as they would have looked when the cards and associated products were purchased. I recently aquired the following photo (measures about 5"x7" or so and the blown up images are awesome and I thought it would be a fun share.

I have no idea as to where this picture was taken or who the ladies are or even the exact date but given the Colgan's Chips sign I would guess around 1908 (about the earliest ads I have seen for the brand) to around 1913/1914 when the brand seemed to disappear for good. What I do know is that it is about the coolest in situ displays from the Golden era of card collecting c1908-1912. Please see the blown up images here...

Readily seen are ads for candies from some very recognizable brands but probably of most importance are the following...

Colgan's Chips:

Greenfield's Delatour Chocolates (distributed Rose Co. Postcards--some have ads on back)

Hershey's Chocolate Sign (partially obscured) and box of chocolate

This is all posted simply for the sake of being awesome! I hope you guys enjoy this image as much as I do.
