Most of the pre-war cards I buy are non-graded, although I no longer buy them on ebay unless I know the seller. I will buy them without seeing them in person only from a very few sellers that come with excellent reputations. I occasionally will buy a graded pre-war card on ebay.
For post-WWII cards most of what I buy now is already graded.
