I would argue Woods is the golf equivalent of Federer - a decent chunk of his career was spent beating up on a weaker tour. Not saying Tiger wasn't/isn't a great golfer, but when you list out the great golfers Tiger faced on a consistent basis vs. guys like Palmer/Nicklaus, I'd take Palmer's/Nicklaus' competition as a spectator.
