I've seen them before, and what the auction house guy told was pretty much right, including that they are from circa 1950s. Though I don't know anything about wrappers. It's the distinct-style faux signatures that identify them. They aren't worthless. For some auctioneers, anything under $500 counts as worthless. Not sure if would be worth it financially, but I'm sure you could convince Beckett to grade/holder them.
