One of the neat things I really liked about the 1975 Topps cards, and keep in mind it was the first year I ever collected, was turning the cards over and seeing the stats of the players, such as Lou, who had been in the league a while. It was even better/more for guys like Killebrew, Brooks and Frank Robinson, and Aaron.
The career stats took up so much space no little blurb/write up could be included.
And, being an 8 year old kid, I knew Lou was a superstar, a card I desired back then as everyone knew there was no one better at stealing bases.
