Greg that Cardinal's pennant is great.
I had a few pennant arrive yesterday including this 1969 Pirates Team Pennant. (It's my first pennant from eBay.) t was described as being in "rough shape" so that price was great.
I hoped it could be cleaned up without too much hassle. So far so good.
- The first photo is from the ebay listing
- The 2nd photo is how it looked when I removed the photo to prepare it for cleaning
- Photo 3 is after I gave it a gentle soak with Oxiclean (or at least it's UK equivalent).
I just need to re-affix the photo. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
I experimented with cleaning another "beater" of a pennant too. The results weren't as good. I'll post photos to share what not to do later.
