Hi Everyone,

My son is signed up for 10U hockey. I'm seeking donations of hockey cards to use either in fundraising events or to give to the kids on the team. If you've been involved in hockey before, you know a lot of fundraising occurs. Cards can be from any year, any player, any company; they can be complete sets, sealed wax boxes, or random assortments. You can donate 100, 400, or 5000 cards -- the size of the donation does not matter. Older cards will likely be used for fundraising, while newer cards will be given to players.

If you haven't seen my posts on the baseball side, I have done this the last two years for Little League. With the help of generous donors, I've been able to donate 55 x 400 count boxes. Kids have loved receiving cards. Once I receive a donation, I sort them so all random boxes include stars, commons, inserts, shiny stuff, boring stuff. It has been a huge hit! Two years ago someone donated unopened wax boxes and my team had a pack opening event. They each received four packs.
