My quick and dirty recomendation for Derek is to get perhaps 2-3-4-5 of the star cards (ala 1954 Ted Williams you posted) graded by PSA. If a few of the key cards are graded by PSA, even if not given high grades, it will give potential bidders more confidence in the overall collection and they will bid more. There are regular card sellers on eBay who can sell the cards for you. They will charge a percentage of sales, but you will get a fair price and they will do all the dirty work for you (identififying, accurate gradint, etc).
